We absolutely should! There are people who can't be trusted and people in this country who are too trusting. The too trusting are hurting the rest of us and our culture of compassion. They are killing it.

The rest of the world is learning a lot about how trustworthy the US and its supposed Christian values are at the moment

Anyone with any intelligence knows that the people in government/their supporters aren't Christians, they're wannabees. Use your head girl. You aren't really that gullible are you? Christians have been feeding the poor and helping people worldwide for many years. Don't confuse them with this issue

I'm not doubting the values of (some) Christians, I'm doubting that there is little evidence of those values now in the US

There are many people of Christian faith (or family backgrounds) who live their lives based on the 10 commandments. I don't practice my faith as per going to church every week but I do practice the principles. Those people you're referring to aren't Christian. They're just trying to fool people.

Everyone who voted for him, everyone who didn't vote to keep him out, every member of the administration, every elected Republican (federal & state) who isn't fighting back – that's a lot of untrustworthy, unprincipled people

A lot of frightened people who see their way of life disappearing before their eyes voted for him. He vowed to lower prices not start trade wars. A lot of them never saw this coming. Democrats weren't helping them and they were losing hope. Not everyone saw this evil.

Our culture is one of compassion, based on Christian values. Those Trumpian people aren't Christians, they're wannabees. There are plenty of compassionate Christians but with your lack of knowledge and poor attitude, you wouldn't have attracted any. Have a nice day.

Lmao. Run along with all of that delusion. Covid disabused me of any belief in a culture of compassion. Especially one based on christian values. I am very much a fan of the complete separation of religion/church and state. So thanks for validating that. :)

Sorry COVID affected you so badly. Most of us managed to get through it quite well by caring for our fellow citizens and doing our best to keep them and ourselves safe. There's mental health care for those of you who were frightened senseless.

I feel very badly for people who were frightened. Most of them were poorly educated as kids and didn't have the ability to differentiate between who was trustworthy and who wasn't. My compassion dwindles for those who were frightened and let anger get the better of them. They harmed innocent people.
