the unfortunate thing is that if this were a real game i doubt we'd get to hear it in full because X would just be cheating his way through the fight

WAY TOO MANY, that's for sure. but if i were to guess if it were limited to like actual code, i'd say he'd change the amount of score HE gets compared to you, and if he's in an invincibility state and you not being able to afford taking more than 1 or 2 hits before dying.
