Watched the original Carnosaur movie for the first time as an adult and fully paying attention. I understood things much better than when I was a kid. The whole scene where she tricks the father to look for his daughter by saying she's down the hall and then a T. rex is there I always thought she

literally transformed into the T. rex. Now I get that it was just her lying but dang lol. We really do need a modern adaptation of the novel. Maybe not a movie even, a video game or tv series. I imagine the dinosaurs would be more modern and noticeably share traits with their bird base genome.

It would be so relevant now to provide commentary on de-extinction projects like Colossal Biosciences or the Dinochicken Project, and I just think now is a great time for more R rated dinosaur horror.

Watching this when I was older made me surprised that I was even allowed to watch this so much when I was a kid. lol This was one of those forever cycling back into the VCR types of movies for me as a kid.

My parents let me rent whatever I wanted from the video store as a kid then later tried to course correct with my 10 year younger brother so badly to the point he was scared Scooby-Doo might give him nightmares.
