Right now I would argue the salaciousness of the Epstein files and the expectations of Deep State exposure matters more to the MAGA base than “mundane” policies. However, as they begin to feel the pain of those policies, things could shift.

. 'Sex Sells' The media is in it solely for the money. They have a C-Suite and shareholders demanding $$$. Informative news is not sexy. Economy is too complicated for them to explain. Everything else is depressing. Salaciousness is the winning ticket for most media outlets.
But they're losing viewers because of it. Losing an audience means losing advertisers.
I will just about guarantee you that these media outlets have far more audience engagement today than they did during Joe Biden's tenure. There was little to no drama during those years. No scandals. Economy was good and everything was boring. Who bothered to watch the news?

Traditional private media works for money $$$$$ first, second and third. You cannot ask too much from them. You could say public media must be more fair. They as fascist had two options, put their ppl in public media or close it.

If they ever get the financial reports from the Treasury. There's nothing that says that anything implicates Trump. Just that it's funneled through 4 Russian banks. The economic reality will touch everyone eventually.
I hope Senator Wyden and his committee can get to the bottom of the thousands of transactions that Epstein engaged in. Trump also got loans from Russian banks and is suspected of helping them with money laundering.
For sure. It's unclear whether these are payments to Epstein for services rendered, or money laundering. I hope we find out.
