I appreciate your broader point about this SCOTUS twisting the law to its preferred outcomes. But, I think your logic goes awry at this point-the insurrection issue required a factual finding that he engaged in insurrection, and the Ct wasn't willing to make it. The third term is plain on its face.

This insistence that facts or law matters is what is destroying us. SCOTUS doesn't care about that stuff, and the 14th amendment rejection has now happened twice — both in allowing an insurrectionist to run and now invalidating birthright citizenship.

The supermajority is anti-14th A, yes. The outcomes are less clear once we venture into the other Amendments.

The basic fact that one of the supremes accepts millions in gifts like camper vans trips and education for his family and nothing is done or seems can be done tells you that this level of open corruption is now accepted.
