The "Attacks" he's referring to is people calling out anti trans comments which he directly compares to the racist abuse he's faced. Clearly those things are very different, but the fact he thinks they're the same is very concerning.

I don't doubt that Hussain has also received abuse, but he has seemed to be doing the usual MP thing of conflating criticism and abuse. It's also telling that Ali chose to wait until most votes will have been cast before stating his position. (I don't recall whether it was after polls closed)
