I do scouting and evaluating of hockey prospects. Paul Fenton is the guy who helped build the Florida Panthers. He did what I do on a much larger scale. Rangers need someone with a proven track record not a novice. He helped build a cup winner that is what the NYR need

From the little I know, Fenton apparently rubbed some people the wrong way in his one season in Minnesota, and that's what led to him being fired. I also hear that Minnesota owner is very difficult also, so maybe that's why. You would know more than I do
