That's a choice.

It’s how I was raised. People know when I am serious or just being silly. One thing I don’t do, is go through life trying to be someone I am not. I have a wicked sharp sense of humor, mostly at my own expense. If that doesn’t work for someone, it’s their loss. My bark is much worse than me bite.

Are you fond of dogs that bark all the time? I have empathy for them, as it's usually a sign of neglect or bad upbringing. Doesn't mean I enjoy listening to them Barker all the time.
