Is there any way to stop the 90k sq.ft ballroom? Are there no rules or laws about building huge ugly buildings on the White House grounds?

would protesting help???
Yes - but I can’t now.
You'd think.... since it's NOT HIS HOUSE.
It's a good symbol of everything that's wrong there, and it will be a joy to watch it get demolished hauled away. This is crazy, so we need to keep on him about Epstein and the economic disaster that his policies are going to wreak on the most vulnerable among us. September's coming, Donald.
Yep - go ahead & build your huge ballroom while folks are concerned about Losing their healthcare & Local small town Hospitals. We’ll tear down the ballroom. The People’s House is supposed to be modest - not garish & gaudy. Almost 250 Years without an unnecessary ballroom!
He is a guest not the owner, "We The People" own that house and we should have a say in what happens to our property.
He intends to stay.
There may be laws and rules, but laws and rules don't apply to tRump! (So he says. And I guess that the Supreme Court has said this too.)
NO WHITE HOUSE BALLROOM! Please sign and share the petition. chng.it/wxS8XLXQHv
Bad enough the Orange Asshair paved over the Rose Garden.
Should be.
Again, showing zero respect for the office of President, the fucking shitbag thinks the white house is a resort.
They’re probably are, but the greedy, pedophile serving Republican Congress members won’t stop him.
What even are rules and laws to Republicans?
Wouldn't the White House be on the Historical Register, for Pete's sake?
If the republicans in congress had a backbone or a set of balls which they don't, they could stop him from doing all this crap, but they're afraid of a cowardly man
If he can pour a slab over a historical rose garden, I'm sure no one has input about what goes on inside.
Has anyone researched this? The WH is a very historically significant building and who needs a huge ballroom anyway. That harks back to the Gilded Age and only obscenely rich people want this. Feed some children and seniors with that money! Oh no, that would require the rich to be decent.
