We just have to hope their vote remains horribly inefficient.

Not sure it'd matter given the current spread across the other parties. They'll be Labour 2024 in spades.

Of course vote efficiency matters.

Unfortunately it's previously been inefficient because it's spread out. The thing with a spread out vote is when you get a lot of votes it suddenly becomes very efficient instead. See also the SNP

If you get more votes than anyone else it is very difficult to not get hundreds of seats

In FPTP vote efficiency is critical. Reform got more than 0.5M more votes than the Lib Dems last year.

Absolutely. We should note that Labour achieved a thumping parliamentary majority with 33% of the popular vote - due to their highly efficient targeting of constituencies. If Reform continues to poll as it is now (30-35%) efficiency will be the deciding factor.
