"It was also slightly sped up, so the video covering 11 hours runs approximately 10 hours and 53 minutes in length." So, if I'm understanding this correctly, we're actually missing something like 8 minutes of film?

"slightly sped up" would suggest no
Oh yeah, you're right. It doesn't erase the 7 minutes, that was dumb of me I'm wondering could it mean the one minute missing is actually longer than one minute, allowing it to have been possibly cut in two places instead of just one (i.e. entering the cell and leaving the cell) then?
That video doesn't even show Epstein's cell door, the doors that are shown are doors that employees uses to enter & exit a different part of the cell block. When Bill Barr was AG, the DoJ said that the cameras that showed Epstein's part of the jail block & his cell door weren't working that night.
Blondi needs to go to jail
I concur, but sadly she never will.
Bill Bar’s father hired Epstein as a teacher back in the day without any teaching degree 🫢 I wonder if there’s a connection.
I remember that vividly and did t someone say that the guards were sleeping or something?
They were sleeping and surfing the net for almost their entire 8 hour shift, when they were supposed to be doing rounds in the cell block every 3 hours. They were both charged with fraud because they submitted forms that said they did the rounds when video proved they never did.
Oh well case closed then, since that's not perfectly suspiciously coincidental in any way
Camera doesnt work in the part of the prison with the high profile inmate on suicide watch. Oopsa daisies
I worked in the dental dept of health services in an fci and I walked by a room they were resuscitating an inmate. He didn't make it. But he was on suicide watch with nobody watching...
He was off suicide watch when he died, wasn't he?
They had taken him off of it the day before he was murdered. He was supposed to have a cellmate because of that fact, but they transferred his cell mate out of his cell on the day before he was murdered and didn't replace him.
I noticed this too !
They all Lie.
They sure do.
How convenient
No, they mean that playback runs faster than real life. Maybe the frame rate is set too fast. Or little glitches dropped some milliseconds here and there, until 7 minutes was gone (1% of the total). The timestamp is baked into the video, and it seems unlike that the camera itself kept bad time.
So technically yes, 8 total minutes -may- be missing, but not 8 consecutive minutes.
Everyone is looking at the elephant's tail instead of the elephant. The elephant is 40 or 50 missing HOURS of video from the common area cams, from the cell cam and from the two cell block cams down in the area where Epstein's cell was. The video they released only shows an exit door upstairs.
