Given that this is part of the same plan coming together just a week after their signing, I think it’s safe to assume that their contracts were written with this in mind.

I mean IndyCar McLaren (US) fire drivers _way_ faster than F1 McLaren (UK) do, so it seems unlikely this is going to be much of an issue.

Technically, I don’t think McLaren is firing them, just exercising their contractually negotiated exit clauses. Because Zak Brown respects and understands the importance of a contract! (Fuck am I defending Zak Brown? I need to take a shower)
