Wait. Can we stop the game and go back to what Mike Pereira just said? There's a "boundary cam" (AN ANGLE STRAIGHT DOWN THE SIDELINE) that CAN'T be used for coaches challenges, but CAN be used for automatic scoring challenges? What?!?!

That fact that there are not multiple cameras dedicated to side lines, goal lines, and the first down line has always blown my mind.
Every stadium not have a boundary cam is baffling in and of itself
Yeah that seemed like some serious bullshit
This has been an issue for years. The TV networks dictate the number of cameras and angles available and NFL just allows it. With the $$$ involved, there should be equal cameras for every game.
That seems screwed up.
I loved the "it wouldn't be fair because not all stadiums have it". So it's fair to not overturn a bad call?
The NFL is dumb lol
Crazy. This league is worth billions. Get the cameras and technology in every stadium. Period.
NFLs replay is so damn awful.
His explanation was “Every team doesn’t have it so, boo hoo, it’s not fair.” Billionaire owners and cheapness go hand in hand
Only the NFL would be that dumb.
There’s a hugely physical sport in Ireland which is played at 100mph between 2 teams of 15 players on a pitch 50yds longer than an nfl one, & 1 referee is tasked with more or less all decisions. In real time. With no video help or replays. Oh and he must keep the score also. And the time. Imagine.

I need an explanation of this rule, the description on tv can't possibly be right. Also, how do some stadiums not have those angles???
Not all stadiums having that cam angle is the answer to why they don't use it.
And not ever stadium has a boundary cam! What is the NFL doing
I'm just shocked Soldier Field has cameras that others stadiums don't
Unbelievable
I think everyone watching was dumbfounded by that info.
I hope that was explained poorly otherwise.....yikes.
And why can’t a multibillion $$ corporation like the NFL get sideline cameras in Every Stadium!?!?
You and and Jahns need to do a Hardy Boys road trip and get to the bottom of this fuckery.
Why does it matter that other stadiums don’t have it? So stupid
The excuse used was "fair for everyone" which is fine for both teams in the same game. To ignore a technological ability to get the call correct in Chicago because a Monday night game in Los Angeles might not have as many cameras is asinine. That's fine for sideline heaters, but what the hell #NFL?
Great system to get things right when you ignore technology to get it right
The dumbest shit.
Meanwhile, the NFL keeps growing their pocketbook by selling rights to more streamers/networks and charging their users more to watch their product. Gotta love it, eh?
