That's the problem. Democrats rarely attack the GOP itself. They foolishly attack only their direct opponent. That's why when that bastard Reagan left office, it was so easy for Bush Sr to win. And as vilified (rightfully so) W was, it was so easy to get the country to vote in Trump the 1st time...

...contrast that with how the GOP attacks. They lump ALL Democrats together. Pelosi, AOC, Obama. It doesn't matter. They are all called extreme leftist commies. That's a massively different strategy that poisons the well. Turns voters away from voting for ANY Dem regardless of their views.
