Love it. I started as a recruiter June 1987 downtown (1.5 blocks from 195 Broadway, 2.5 from WTC) placing pbx techs, CO switch tech (5E, Nortel) with telcos. I did better with carrriers than banks. Less process , solve one guy’s problem and they hired. Eventually SATCOM, cellular, etc.

Involved in all facets of telephony; cordboard, Leich analog electromechanical, 1A2 key/electronic/ PBXs, GTD120 /Mitel prewiring, climbed poles- lashed/spliced cable, 5ESS/DCO/Nortel DMS-10/100/250/500 MetaSwitch softswitch, GETS, CALEA, 988, & lots more.
