If you cared about democracy you would have never voted for Trump last Nov. Democrats missed the fact we lost the country last November and have let Trump, actually Miller & company, systematically disassemble the constitution. They counted on Dems bringing a pen to a gunfight & now here we are.

So many of us tried to sound the alarm but no one took us seriously. This has been decades in the making and Democrats thought it was business as usual. It’s not and it’s almost too late.
Democrats are just waking up. It’s either succession or war now. I do not see how this gets fixed unless by some miracle GOP give up power.

It goes and comes. It will come around. Always has even in worse times than these. The Dems have been awake. I see them at every meeting in Venice. But there are more registered R’s where I live and with the gerrymandering it is very hard to win for a Dem. Last year we put 2 on the school board.
How, they are literally destroying voting? SCOTUS now taking up Louisiana redistricting case and would gut the VRA if they side with lower court. California has no choice but to gerrymander now and I don’t see this administration letting that happen.
It will take at least a decade to sort out what DOGE did, and so much dirt behind closed doors!
It was so frustrating and exhausting when everyone kept downplaying it. “He wouldn’t do that!” while he actively promised to do that and more. “But Biden didn’t do everything he promised and he supports Israel!” The choice was democracy’s death or a not optimal candidate. Kinda an easy choice.
The fact is, we aren’t going to get a truly progressive candidate as long as corporations and billionaires can buy politicians. Right now we need literally anyone better than the turd reich. We can focus on getting better policies when the government is less cartoonishly evil.
I don’t like Newsome. His views on trans people are bad and he’s in the pocket of pharmaceutical companies. But he’s one of the few democrats who is throwing the shit the GOP is tossing right back at them. So he has my support.

This is classic disinfo bullshit. The voters made their choice in the fall, and now we are the ministry party. We have been doing everything possible in that role but it is very limited. We aren't "letting" them do anything, they have the power. Are you actually an American voter?
