I could easily add dozens of additional examples to this thread, but there are enough to illustrate the point. My hope is that, by starving such articles of attention, news outlets would be lose their financial incentive to publish them in the first place and we'd start to see more factual framing

I have that rule for "Putin says..." articles. The BBC was publishing headlines daily. Putin lies, blusters and distracts. Headlines based on what he says make people dumber.
