I wonder what she is basing the claim on then. Could she have got a letter from Stanford’s equivalent of CTY/TIP at that time and misunderstood it as undergrad admissions? Or did she radically misunderstand a Questbridge letter?
I don't see a charitable/benign explanation to the totally of her statements. While Stanford currently offers a summer session program that is open to high school students, I can't confirm that it was active during the relevant time period; and to my knowledge it has never offered any financial aid
Moreover the summer program for high schoolers has never had any sort of career-specific track— and certainly not a "pre-med" focus. As far as I can recall it has always been a glorified summer school for families willing to pay top dollar for 5-8 units to make their kids seem more competitive
