Better framing: 'Will the Supreme Court stop requiring states to recognise same-sex marriage?' since that's what overturning Obergefell would do. 36 states recognised equal marriage prior to 2015. The danger is couples again facing a patchwork US where they are married some places and not others.

Yes, attacking trans rights is their gateway to what they really want. Project 2025 It'll after T it will be LGB rights next. Then removing cis women's rights is their ultimate goal. They want to return to an era of rich white straight men having all the rights over everyone else.
