The News Agents @newsagents.bsky.social

“This is a serious problem, and for years, politicians of all stripes have lied about the scale of the problem.” The hard-right just say "send them back" when asked about migrant people in the UK – but that's just an empty political slogan www.thenewsagents.co.uk/article/send...

They have no solutions to any of the problems facing this country, just empty slogans aimed at generating even more division. The irony is that most of our problems can be traced back to the one thing they successfully campaigned for Brexit

It’s almost as if the press has been too soft on everybody and failed to call out bullshit, time and time again.

You can't just fill a plane up with people and expect to land in a country unannounced and drop them off 😂😂🤡🤡

Send Afghan asylum seekers, some of whom worked for and assisted British authorities and Forces back to the Taliban. Is that something that would make you so proud of Britain that you would fly a flag or paint a roundabout?

Of course it needs addressing, but people seriously need stop and ask themselves, is something that brings 30-50k people a year into a country of 70M really the cause of so many issues? Of course it isn’t. It’s totally illogical to assume so and shows just how unserious this issue has become

It’s the gullibility that gets me: They voted Brexit because they believed lies. Everything they were told is wrong, Now it’s immigrants/ECHR/Human rights. All of this wasn’t to benefit anyone but make things worse for everyone. Yet despite the evidence of their own eyes they still believe Farage.

Farage uses the fear narrative to stoke his base. He has no solutions for anything, especially this concocted "Send them back" bollocks. He loves it. All this anger over around 3% of total immigration numbers! Utter madness and completely lacking any empathy or compassion.

If only the far right hadn't been given a total free ride by the media for the past 15-20 years and had actually been asked the tough questions.

They don't want answers. They want the problem to run and run. They want angry people. They want riots. They want hate.

I thought it was a temporary injunction until the full hearing? Not what your headline text is saying.
