Confirming the eternal rule, that the answer to any headline posed as a question is going to be : “No”

Less people employed less taxes paid results in no cash flow for running the country. Maybe AI can fix pot holes?

I just dont understand how AI replacing certain jobs means other jobs will have more people moving into them with an increase in wages, eg teachers? He promises a better future for people but how?

I listened to another podcast with him. He's like the others - a medium quality hype artist, who loves to spiral off into unlikely "what if" scenarios. We shouldn't give him credit or a hearing just because he's british.

Yes - with its launch we are expecting a 40% reduction in our staffing levels. Contact Centre industry will be the biggest hit in the next 12 to 18 months. Some major brands have already achieved this, but there are many just joining the "revolution" drying up the market and about to cut

As for the creating of new jobs, in existing business it just means less people going out the door, so only works as retention not job creation.

We always get told that innovations like this will take over the boring, tedious that no-one wants to do but that never turns out to be true. No professional writer, artist or musician ever aspired to being put out of work by a computer.

Mine personally, I hope so. The guaranteed redundancy pay-off and pension would enable an early and happy retirement.

Why are you doing AI marketing now? These systems are built by stealing incredible amounts of IP and lose astonishing amounts of money, always on the promise that one day it will produce a digital slave. Please do some research and call them on their previous predictions which are all false

To answer those questions: No, not really, and never. Illustrators will lose some work, but that's about it.
