Nope. The first term was the learning exercise. The second term was as much Dems voters as not bothering to vote, while the red hat crew also grew the vote for Putin's useful idiot.

I agree. I think the international community gave us somewhat of a pass for Trump 1. I didn’t support him but I thought he was he was transactional and wanted to be popular. All of America deserves the blame for Trump 2. We will be international pariahs for years to come. /1
My only hope is that Germany is well respected now although I don’t know how long that took. And they had the trauma of partition to engender sympathy. So far, the US hasn’t done anything as bad as 1940s Germany but Trump has another 3.5 years to go.
Except for nearly two centuries of state-approved slavery and/or apartheid (Jim Crow) with zero accountability or anything resembling Truth & Reconciliation™️. Germany rewrote their Constitution making human rights front & center. The US’s mostly outlines how to elect/protect rich white dudes.
Yep. The US is too sick to survive in its current format. Hopefully the coming carnage will serve as a reset. I’m sorry that so many innocents domestic and abroad are caught up in the United States’ (2nd Republic?) Death throes. Is first Republic 1776 to 1865? Second 1866 to 2024?
Nope. You're in the former category.
Thanks. Most outside observers of the US don't drill down into the vagaries of your voting system. Their perceptions are general, and are based on events in the US and tariffs, along with foreign policy issues, such as favouring Russia over Ukraine. One term was forgiveable, a second term is nuts.
Nope.
