Excellent comparison! The irrationality is crazy, they even have fake ‘science’ journals & fake terms & even extremists who have written complete nonsense as comment in some previously respected journals. Scientists are trained not to court publicity & that plays right into their hands.

True. They'll have you believe "rapid onset gender dysphoria" is a real clinical phrase that's been researched in papers but in reality it was created by one woman who isn't a researcher and has no scientific background polling her friends for their opinions about why they think we exist

Same with the phrase "autogynephile" I've had TERFs laugh at the notion that its pseudo-science but it is by every metric Put forward by one man in 1992 and laughed out of academic circles for inventing results and subjects, it was never accepted as a real condition anywhere in science or medicine

It is quite astonishing they get away with it! I used to argue with them & provide respected scientific papers etc - but they have no interest in learning anything that might adumbrate their hatreds.

Yeah I don't argue with these people anymore, well.. I try not to. It works because the politicians and the media refuse to pushback and they run with it. How many papers now refer to as "biological males" despite every medical org agreeing that our biology matches our gender identity after hormones

Then you've got Gavin Newsom saying trans women have a "biological advantage in sports" despite admitting he hasn't read the science... he's been saying it for 8 months now, how long does he need to read the science on it?

He’s actively campaigning, like Pritzker, for President. Newsome has no chance of being elected & his move to the right will be held against him if he runs for governor again - especially in one of the more leftish states. It’s not even clear there will be more presidential elections given Trumps BS
