My job is politics. I care about what happens. I’m glad when people share information that doesn’t make it into the news. But I also need literature, films, history, scenery, amazing facts about past civilisations. People who only focus on politics ignore the point of politics - to make life better.
There’s so many other accounts that post about politics. People need a break sometimes so they don’t go insane (it’s me, I’m people)
Yes, it's a major issue here. And the non-political accounts are getting overwhelmed by scolds and just by desperate people who grab onto ANYTHING non-political. We just need people sharing their favorite shows, their breakfast, their pets
One of the best things I did for myself on here was searching out specifically non-political accounts to break up my following feed from constant bad news
