I agree but I think their motivations are different. Deion was motivated to make his QB look as good as possible right away. Belichick is concerned with doing things his way, no matter what, and he'll churn the roster for a few seasons till he has what he wants (I don't think he'll get there).

This is partly why any parent that lets their kid be recruited by Belichick is out of their mind. He’ll take a top offensive prospect and just BURY them.

I think multiple things can be true with Deion's deal there -- he wanted the QB to look good, sure, but he also hired a guy who understands college offenses and let him do that ... he didn't hire his kids and cronies and just do the whole "I know more about football than anyone alive so i'll be ok"

Then Deion fired that offensive coordinator.
