There's a theory that by using Trump's failing health and cognition, Thiel, and his billionaires cohort with Project 2025, will have Vance replace Trump before 2028... and then they'll rig the election (again) - so Vance's personal popularity will be irrelevant to the electoral outcome 🤷🏼♀️

I find your attitude glib in the face of what is a terrifying amount of legislation, and Executive actions which are greatly undermining US democracy, and democratic norms. People are dying, and a lot more will due to various new policies that remove health & welfare support to millions of people.
I agree that it is terrifying. I don't have a good idea of exactly how we reverse things quickly. We can protest, we can spread info, we can vote. But it is sadly a slow process, and Americans are still too apathetic. It looks to me like it will get worse before it gets better.
Why don't you have a good idea how to be actively resisting? There are 1000s of opportunities for someone of your privilege to be part of the resistance in so many ways. I just asked Perplexity Pro how to - and it gave me a detailed response on how to productively resist the Trump Administration. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

It'll be interesting to see if Vance can hold the Republican caucus together, though. Once Trump is gone, the cult of personality doesn't have an immediate successor to take the stage.
