In the middle of yesterday’s chaos, my neighbor friends behind and one over from me stopped to give me Lemon Cucumbers from their garden. We also talked about the MAGA jerk who we share boundaries with and I was told that yesterday he, along with a buddy, sat in his driveway at a table all day.

I’ll report later about the cukes. Mike doesn’t, as far as I know, own a gun. He waves flags on the Blvd with his friends and calls the police about every single imagined issue he can think of, but the police have warned him to stop. He’s bipolar, displays poor boundaries with young women and
wants to sue someone for his imagined slights. His older child and former wife fled in the night over ten years ago as the result of his anger and maybe DV. He still has a younger child who wants out, so I try to keep it quiet. I did line my fence with Pride banners in June and now he calls me
“That Dyke”.

I will outlast him, I have a great relationship with his older kid now and he does not. I’m already winning.

So weird, but they have been charting Mike’s aggression and think he is ramping back up to annoying as the seasons change. Also, they have an abundance of cantaloupes and I should not be surprised to find a few on my porch later this week.
What do they taste like?
I haven’t tried these yet, but I’ve had them before. They are supposed to be mild and lemony. I’ll report back.
