This seems rampant even in advertising. I keep seeing an in-game ad from State Farm in which they're having some kind of video game contest with the Jake character where you can "EARN PIONTS." I don't know what pionts are, but there you have it.

Drives me crazy, because I'm a born copy editor. Spelling errors and typos just jump out at me. And the lack of an edit button here on Bluesky is a pain...
