Trump's parroting of Putin's demands is as bad for Ukraine and Europe, particularly NATO, as the Treaty of Versailles was for Germany after WWI. Ultimately, that treaty led to another war. I think the Ukraine war may spill over it's borders as a result of Trump's incompetence.
They also came with Zelensky today because what happens in Ukraine will affect them. I'm hoping as a safeguard in a peace settlement, Ukraine gets NATO troops.
