Easy to demean when a deflection from dealing with the mass shooting epidemic in this country. “It’s too soon.” “Nothing we can do other than thoughts and prayers”. It’s the gun nuts and gun lobby causing all Americans to live in fear. GOP blocking any change. We have become inured to it. Shameful

Anyone who responds with pronouncements of thoughts and prayers to kids being slaughtered but refuses to do anything about guns is a religious fraud. Note, I didn’t say the thoughts and prayers were useless. If prayer promotes human action, great. If used as excuse to do nothing, blasphemy.

I believe in prayer. However, as a Christian I believe in God given free will. We should be using our free will to legislate gun laws and restrictions: background checks, red flags, making military/police style rifles illegal along with other military grade armory. Stop this horror now!
