Brian, criticize me all you want, but get your facts straight. I publicly came out against Trump 7yrs ago, took a blowtorch to my career in doing so. I left the GOP about 6yrs ago. Trump is burning this country down. Dems must be more than “concerned” about that. We must be righteously pissed off.
Joe, I remember your transformation. I was one of many trying to get through to you at the time. You were willing to listen & debate. Which you did a lot, before making changes. Others have done the same. So it’s not impossible or uncommon. I respect people who are open minded enough to progress.
I appreciate you even when I disagree because being able to disagree and still care for the same things (preservation of our democracy) is honestly what we need more of, if we hope to defeat this tyrant in office. It takes a lot to turn away from all you’ve ever known and take in new perspectives.
Concern isn’t going to get us out of this mess. The GOP can’t be shamed, reasoned with, or trusted. They certainly don’t want to work with Dems. We all either fight together, or crown King Donald and the oligarchy. As a lifelong D, I’m really tired of watching D’s get bullied, and taking it.
Joe, you’re appreciated. For years you have publicly apologized for your part in helping to elect Trump. Were it not for you, Charlie Sykes, Bill Kristol, Tim Miller, Nicolle Wallace “and more”…I’d have no hope. As an Independent Moderate Vermonter, I’m grateful for you all.

When it comes to this fight that matters more than all others, I’ll take a Joe Walsh and Adam Kinzinger over a Chuck Schumer any day. And then I’ll happily go back to fighting them respectfully on policy issues.

Before all you loyalists sing Mr. Walsh's praises, read his posts. He tends to "both sides" issues & he has openly advocated for the takeover of the Democratic party. The Tea Party plays the long game. They've infiltrated the GOP, law enforcement, military & judicial. Keep them at arms length.
