Something I wish I saw more of: clear adult communication. On social media, I constantly have to fight myself to keep the sarcasm and snark to a minimum. It helps to remember that every response is really written for the viewers, not the person you are responding to. So be the reasonable person.

Exactly. Did he wake up one day & decide he no longer supported obstructionism, extreme partisanship, populist anger & policy concerns (i.e. opposing the ACA, rejecting climate science, demanding deep budget cuts)? Doubtful. That's an awful LOT of change for anyone to accomplish in 8 short yrs.
