It’s happening more and more, young players off before we even get to see them. Have to hope the fees received pay for the academy, or otherwise what’s it for?

I’m not sure the club can do anything about this. The difference between England and Scotland is frightening. Villa pay £1m plus in the hope he comes good but if not, no big deal, we pay £1m it absolutely needs to work. We do need to get our own boys through to the first team quicker tho.
