Come on down. Even if my yard stinks, I can take you to Longwood!

😄
Lora, I'll pick you up.
Let me know when you're getting here, I'll make brownies.
How can I say no??!! 😊
I know you have your DM's closed, mine are open to people that I follow, so I think you can send me one if you ever want to visit. Likewise all the rest of the crew!
You're incredibly gracious and kind.
OK, sounds good! Thanks!
I can guarantee my yard looks worse. I over committed this summer. Nothing on the home front got done. Next year. I'd love to tour Longwood.
Seriously, come on down and we'll go! 🌞
Which season is most spectacular there? Spring?
I kind of like now. They have beautiful annual gardens so those are spectacular, and they have idea gardens for vegetables, fruit trees, and landscaping that are showier this time of year. You can't really go wrong though. If you do the whole garden, plan on walking 5 to 7 miles. It's big!
So, would you recommend seeing it over 2 days?
It can certainly be done in one day, but I personally find that if I try to go everywhere, I get, as my brother calls it, "beauty fatigue". 😄 I have a membership so I usually just go see what I want that day if I'm on my own. Half the time I go, I have guests and I'm being a tour guide.
I understand "beauty fatigue". I max out, too. 😁
He lives on Maui. He said when you get to the point where you're saying, "do I *have* to look at another waterfall or rainbow?", you have beauty fatigue. 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
