It isnt any stupider than it was 30, 40, 50, 100, or 1,000 years ago and yet we made progress. There is no reason to believe we cant now.

Also it’s literally the first story of the Bible. Knowledge is the antithesis of authoritarianism, which is why the Tree of Knowledge is evil. It’s right there. Knowledge, understanding and education are the antithesis of authoritarianism. Not more religion or anti religion.

My point is if education was focused on instead of religion or lack of religion, the problem would solve itself. But everyone would have to be educated with equality. Again. Not a word the current population can comprehend thanks to the lack of education.

Maybe. I'm skeptical of that but I can see how you arrived at where you at. We have a LOT of educated opposition. People have a way of compartmentalizing.

Be skeptical! Please! I’m mostly talking from my own experience. But yes. It’s that ability to ignore reality that gives them the opportunity to ignore what is happening in front of them. I wish I had it. But it also seems to come with less intelligence overall so, maybe not.

Until the population is educated enough to understand nuance and compromise they won’t be able to understand their religion is the problem. If most of the adult population can’t read well enough to understand nuance and compromise, how does yelling at them help? They genuinely cannot comprehend.
