Because UFO sightings are a culture based superstition. Its our version of the Loch Ness Monster. The US is basically the *only* country that routinely claims to see UFOs. No other countries, including those other than in Africa "sees" UFOs to the extent the US does. Its a part of American culture.

Thanks so much..now makes one wonder...could it be some sort of secret superiority propaganda to boost their supposed intelligence and observatory prowess, as per eyes for tiny details, and sending fear across the world...like : "Who knows what (new technology)they have learnt from those Aliens.."

The charitable explanation is the US has a waaaaaaaay more extensive military aircraft and weapons testing program than *any* African nation so that could explain some of it
