There used to be jobs you could get without any education beyond the 8th grade that you could live on. There isnt now and that's a problem.

The only exception of this that I can think of is if you just happen to have grown up around heavy equipment and can get two letters of recommendation from people you know who own a business you can say you worked for. You can get hired as a heavy equip. Op. So, like 0.001% of most people.
