My recipe: take your banana skins. Put em in a tupperware bowl. Cover them with water. Snap the lid on. In a week, drain and strain the water. Save the peels. Use the water for your house plants or gardens. Use the peels as mulch for your roses or new transplants. No liquid smoke involved.

Works great on peony too or so I am told.

i’ve made banana skin bakon. it’s pretty solid, way better than it should be given it’s banana skins. rice paper bakon is better. sandwich looked bad. BLT on a hamburger bun? no salt or pepper on the tomatoes? and would it kill you to use a knife to spread out the squeeze mayo?

Here's mine 🍌. Use ripe bananas, not the peel the actual fruit yo lol, cut them in half and place them in a pan with butter and a drop of vanilla. Add some brown sugar on each banana, and based with butter until it caramelizes on both sides. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Voilà

Vegan bacon recipe is legit, but that was WAY too much liquid smoke. Apparently, making bacon like this isn't that bad but I haven't tried it yet.
