Okay, now I'm curious what the Jim Lee Savage Land outfit looked like. On a guess, basically a string bikini on a character WHO WILL ABSORB YOUR POWERS AND MEMORIES AT THE SLIGHTEST CONTACT... :P

"Strategically torn bodysuit" aka bikini

Remember when Jim Lee designed a costume for the Huntress, a character established to wear high-tech bullet-resistant fabric, and gave her an outfit with a belly window?

DC certainly remembers, that's the one that shows up in most merch to this day...

I’m still a bit annoyed that that’s the one they ended up using on the JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED cartoon.

I'm not SUPER shocked given Bruce Timm's love of scantily-clad girls in his shows but I imagine the Huntress one was just due to HUSH being a huge hit at the time, yeah.

Yeah, it’s not so much the skimpiness of it that surprises me, as the fact that it’s REALLY busy & overdesigned (like most Jim Lee costumes, IMO) and thus not especially practical for animation.

Especially in the DCAU style, which tends to really simplify stuff, design-wise.
