AI cannot help you with fiction. It cannot write better stories than a human. At least not from what I have seen.

I will find out soon enough. I had a fairly advanced draft of my debut novel finished around a year and a half ago. I thought it was good but I bet AI will point out a thousand places where I can tighten the prose and offer embellishments to strengthen scenes and descriptions.
