In the states the quote "Let your grandmother die for the economy" happened. The only thing is that I can't remember if that was the EXACT quote or if "Kill" was used instead. Makes me angry thinking about it.

I heard both versions. And they tried so hard to convince us that it didn't infect kids at all, and they ended up being one of the biggest spreaders.

That one still makes me so mad as a lot of long COVID hauler were and are kids. I meet a girl in highschool who got it as a sophomore and had to drop out from doing any sports cause she couldn't walk for over a year, putting on a lot of weight. It breaks my heart thinking about it and her.

And she was good too. She wanted to go to the Olympics. She was one of the few people who were "Younger" at our Long COVID Support Group but I met people coming in from other states who came cause their younger loved ones couldn't. Lots of "Older" people in their 50s too. Just breaks me.

Such a massive waste of life for nothing. The only ones who benefited were obscenely rich people, who were able to avoid catching it.
