Oh, there are a bunch. I’ve been talking about this since the beginning - a large chunk of the GOP disagrees with Trump on foreign policy, think he’s making a mistake with tariffs, etc. It only takes a few of them to caucus with Dems and stop this shit, but they’re all cowards.

Came here to say this. Their motivation to stay silent is that they know their constituents will vote ANYONE out who doesn't fall in line w/ Trump. We can quibble about whether the GOP at large is or is not a cult, but Trump HIMSELF certainly has a cult-like hold on the voter base. It's CRAZY.
If we had a reasonable candidate we could beat Newhouse. He’s hurting his base, and he’s alienated MAGA. We’re 60%red, 40% blue and have a jungle primary. If MAGA takes him out we have a good chance to flip the seat.

My Rep Dan Newhouse voted for djt’s impeachment, he has been targeted by MAGA, including an American Firstor. He wins because democrats vote for him as the lesser of two evils. When I pointed that out to him, he denied it. He’s now supporting the budget that will hurt his constituents, his GOP base.
Lisa and all the other cowards should resign their offices and let someone in office who will fight, but they are too cowardice to even do that.

I seriously don't understand why Lisa Murkowski doesn't just become an Independent in the Senate.
And she’s one of the few Republicans speaking out despite being afraid. It’s ridiculous that they are afraid. Do they think the other GOP will give them the silent treatment or not invite them to lunch? Do they think if they do nothing there will be any meaningful Senate duties beyond this year?
They want us to buy that they have no choice but to obey him out of fear. They don’t want to take responsibility for sticking with him for electoral benefit. They could have impeached. They could have moved on after his 2020 loss. They made a choice to stick with him. I have zero sympathy.
