Vance & Miller are buddies, & Heritage is scary. But will Congress rally behind Johnson and Thune to stay in line? Especially if it’s around midterms? I don’t think MAGA Mike can keep his ducks in a row without fear of Trump— they may be more scared of their constituents then, as it should be.

The only thing that scares me about Vance is that ppl who vote Red but don’t like Trump as a person could be convinced he’s nicer than Trump. But I don’t think he could keep the stooges in leadership roles in-line top-down like Trump, or threaten Congress to cede their powers with the same effect.
