Just my two cents, but when I drive in CA and they come up between us, it always freaks me out. But hey, you do you.
I hated it in Greece and I will hate this here-awful idea.
No, people, the problem isn't motorcycles. Your ENORMOUS car is the dangerous bit. You can't see around it, you can't hear anything outside, you're distracted by screens, you need assistance staying in your lane. You're one person driving an empty SUV, shut up. Bikers are aware of their surroundings
Lane splitting. It’s the polite way to say “helmet splitting”
How many days before some kid on a crotch rocket turns himself into a meat crayon trying to haul ass between a couple lanes now that it’s legal? Putting an awful lot of trust in people to not do stupid shit hasn’t ended well lately in this country. Hope it doesn’t happen but I see how people drive
That's going to be annoying as hell. Especially when it's the same idiots who weave in and out of traffic going way too fast.
Dumb, da dumb, dumb dumb...
Does part of the law state that sane motorists aren’t liable for the idiocy of jackasses on two wheels?
Really don't agree with this. It seems like it would make roads less safe.
I expect an uptick in car/ motorcycle accidents over the next few months and a rise in fatalities. You think people don't see motorcycles now...
I was surprised by multiple motorcyclists doing this even before it was technically legal. My heart leapt. It was immensely distracting, and when you are in stop and go traffic, especially if you may want to merge, it is unsafe to suddenly have a vulnerable body where you aren't expecting one.
Carnage.
Go to Italy folks, this is nothing
What could go wrong?
