If people decided to vote third party (negligible impact) or stay home (significant impact) because they couldn't stomach the thought of voting for someone who can't acknowledge that it's wrong to commit genocide, how can you blame them?

I think it’s a mistake to assume that someone who doesn’t loudly announce support for position is somehow against it. She had no power to change Biden’s policies & couldn’t publicly undermine the sitting leader of her party. It was not something that 18 yr me understood, but 40+ me now does.

Copy that @goforproduction.bsky.social

She loudly expressed her desire to support Israel. You don’t get to play “what if” with very clear reality

And this excuse that she could not publicly undermine Biden (the man she basically called a racist when she was running against btw) carries very little weight. Was it more important to spare the feelings of a genocidal old man than win the election?

No one said she had the power to change Biden's policy. That didn't mean she couldn't demonstrate how her policy would be different as President of the US, the job she was asking for.

Some guy @internethuman.bsky.social

"while i think Joe has done an admirable job and done as much as he can to secure a ceasefire, if I am elected, I think that it is time we pursue a different path in these negotiations and use all levers at our disposal to us under existing US Law." Yeah super hard to break with Biden 🙄
