Wise folks are always needed, only stupid ppl do not appreciate their input. It makes them angry to have their stupidity revealed, You were very fortunate to have a mentor like that. & it is a benefit to all of us to pass it on.

I was fortunate 2 have a mentor like that, he was an electrical engineer & taught me video/TV he had worked @ ABC, PBS & NASA back in the day, man did he have some anecdotes! He taught me how 2 edit with two 1-inch videotape machines wired together. Helped me get my 1rst job in TV He was a great guy
