Iran has been shown up as a paper tiger, but there’s no indication that its nuclear programme has been wiped out. Its stocks of enriched, more-or-less weapons grade uranium have probably survived the Israeli and US attacks.

And Israel and the US has been shown to break international law, but I guess there will be no repercussions to their actions.
Or, perhaps Iran informed Washington ahead of time of their attack on the US military base in Qatar to bring the recent hostilities to a close and avoid escalation. Why are you, of all people, seeking to disparage this calibrated response? 🤷🏼♂️ bsky.app/profile/dana...
Or, perhaps the main motivation of Iran is to avoid the regime change that Israel is desperate for and remain a theocracy? Israel will carry on provoking Iran for a response and now mad Donny has committed US support that he can't retract.
We don’t know it’s a paper tiger for sure either although Bibi has been bogging it up for years. Like Hamas, a useful tool in his campaign to ensure no Palestinian state.
Q. If the sites were ‘obliterated’ as claimed by Trump, why did Israel feel the need to follow up?
They said they bombed the roads. To make it more difficult to salvage what was left?
60% is far from 90%.
The concern, if this regime collapses as seems increasingly likely, is who is going to end up in control of these stocks ?
With (reportedly) 60% enriched uranium - ie 60% U-235, they wouldn’t need to make a nuclear weapon: just drive a truck full of explosives with the uranium around it, and set it off in the city centre of choice. Instant uninhabitable city for a few hundred years.
And it’ll now be more determined than ever to get the bomb quickly as the only sure fire way of stopping this happening again
