The other fast growing segment are mental ill people. Because we don't have a healthcare system that works here. It's terrible the way we just abandon people. I'm mentally ill so I know a lot about the mentally ill population. I live on SSDI, I'm only ever about one misstep away from homelessness.

Rural Evangelical N. Florida County Judges came up with a BRILLIANT IDEA TO MAKE MONEY. Counties paid for Orphanages/Mental Hospitals, Florida paid for prisons. Judges started sending orphans/mentally ill boys to prison. briankeithohara/blogspot.com/2016/12/sophie-and-hans-scholl-sometimes.html

I'm from South Florida. So I know about this, I'm pretty sure I read the articles in the paper when they came out. Sorry State of affairs. In more ways than one. I don't live too far away from where there used to be a reform school, It's a state park/campground now, probably a good use for the land.

A woman wrote me about a neighbor boy about 12-years-old. His mom remarried and his stepfather was a vicious man who beat him constantly. The boy ran away repeatedly. Sent to Sheriff's Boys Ranch, where he was murdered/committed suicide. She got a letter from him, guards beat him all the time

It was a terrible thing they did to those kids. They were just kids too, I mean that one was 12, some of them were even younger. So sad, so much lost for nothing that even resembled a benefit.
