The right to bear arms is not unlimited and does not allow for the possession of any weapon whatsoever in any manner or for any purpose. The Court noted that dangerous and unusual weapons, such as machine guns, can be banned. The US cares more about guns than children. Give up a gun, save a child.

I don't see a way without allowing "stop & frisk", warrantless searches, and isolation from the rest of the world. At that point, we might as well be North Korea.

The way out is national gun laws banning military style weapons, banning guns outside the home unless for legal hunting/target practice, raising age for gun possession, automatic prison sentence of 5 years for any crime committed with a gun. To argue this would not lower crime is absurd.

Banning "Military style" is banning an adjustable stock, pistol grip, barrel shroud, and flash suppressor. Nothing functional. NY, CA, IL ban them & you can still buy an AR/AK. Google "California compliant AR".

Banning guns outside the home will never happen without changing/removing the 2nd A. Courts have already ruled on that. As for the 5 year prison time for gun crimes. Do you know who doesn't? Democrats. 1n 2017, Illinois tried that (SB 1722).

It didn't reduce crime much, but it did increase prison time for mostly black & minority men. Just stating facts.

If banning guns outside the home will never happen, it is proof America does not love its children. Guns must be regulated nationwide for it to lower crime, no AKsno ARs! Red states love of guns is the killing machine, but for them, gun crime would be much lower. 5 years, no matter the race.

Fixing poverty would solve the crime issue, but neither party wants to fix it because that goes against their mission of promoting individualism and meritocracy.

I agree that the disparity in wealth of resources and money is a driving factor in crime. I would say it goes against their mission of racism and greed. The democracy America could be without racism and greed would be awesome!
