he went into hiding, rather than face arrest. he was enraged at the breakup of standard oil, yes. all those monopolies felt entitled to continue them, & expand them. this is capitalism with no regulations, & is why the billionaires, who drumpf represents, want NO regulations of any kind.

the cuyahoga river, running through cleveland, used to burn.! i mean, flames, it was so full of toxic waste dumped directly into the river. again...they are lifting the regulations that prevent such things. maybe they want to see the cuyahoga in flames again.!

This is important to remind people of why regulations exist

the people want regulations...the corporations--treated like they're people--& the billionaires dont want regulations...costs them money & time. they dont care about the utter ruination of the ecology, the environment. they truly dont. & the lack of regulations is murdering our mineworkers.

I know. It's incredible people will sacrifice their neighbors and cities for money. Bezos Musk all these latest versions of robber barons are a symbol of the rot our country rotates through every 80 years or so. We're at the low point, the slimy bottom. It can go completely off the rails or recover

i'd say that its already off the rails. only revolution can result in recovery. nothing else will work at this point.
